Understanding Your Swing Metrics: Max Movement Explained

Max movement section measures the maximum movement in four directions (Forward, Backward, Upward, and Downward) throughout the swing.

Down-the-Line

Head

  • Forward – Tracks how much the head moves in the direction your nose is pointing during the swing.
  • Backward – Tracks how much the head moves behind (opposite of forward) during the swing.
  • Upward – Tracks how much the head moves up (toward the sky) during the swing. swing.
  • Downward – Tracks how much the head moves down (toward the ground) during the swing.

Shoulder

  • Forward – Tracks how much the shoulder center moves in the direction the nose is pointing during the swing.
  • Backward – Tracks how much the shoulder center moves behind (opposite of forward) during the swing.
  • Upward – Tracks how much the shoulder center moves up (toward the sky) during the swing. 
  • Downward – Tracks how much the shoulder center moves down (toward the ground) during the swing.

Hip

  • Forward – Tracks how much the hip center moves in the direction the nose is pointing during the swing.
  • Backward – Tracks how much the hip center moves behind (opposite of forward) during the swing.
  • Upward – Tracks how much the hip center moves up (toward the sky) during the swing. 
  • Downward – Tracks how much the hip center moves down (toward the ground) during the swing

Head

  • Forward – Tracks how much the head moves in the direction your ball is heading.
  • Backward – Tracks how much the head moves backward (opposite of forward) during the swing.
  • Upward – Tracks how much the head moves up (toward the sky) during the swing.
  • Downward – Tracks how much the head moves down (toward the ground) during the swing.
