How to import existing swing videos into Swing Tune-Up
You can import existing swing videos in your photo album into Swing Tune-Up. Swing Tune-Up runs its detection engine to detect the swings in your provided video automatically. Here are a few guidelines for the detection to be successful.
There's only one person present in the frame
The subject is dominant and centered in the frame. (e.g., if it's zoomed out too much, the detection could fail)
Videos captured in bright lighting condition work better.
The video contains the complete swing sequences (Address to finish). If the video only contains the partial swing (e.g., video starts at the top position), it won't be detected.
If you have videos that meet the above criteria, you can
Tap on the import icon in the top-left corner of the gallery view.
Tap on the video you want to import.
Wait for STU to analyze the video. It will take you to the swing selection view once it's complete.
If Swing Tune-Up detects more than one swing, it will prompt you to select
Import all - Import all detected swings.
Select Manually - Let the user select which swings to import
If you click "Import All," it will import every detected swing as a separate swing into your swing database.
Alternatively, if you decide to select manually, you can
Browse through the video and select the swings you want to import by tapping the boxes at the bottom of the timeline.
You can jump to the previous/next swing by pressing the backward/forward arrow.
Tap the Import button once you have selected the swings you want to add to your swing gallery.
The selected swings will be saved as separate videos, which you can use to analyze, compare...etc.
